Issue: Server Manager will not refresh

Symptoms / Error

  • Windows server 2019 server manager will not refresh.  Error "Configuration refresh failed with the 

    following error: Invalid Class"

Fix

  • CD C:\Windows\System32\wbem\AutoRecover

  • Run "for /f %s in ('dir /b *.mof *.mfl') do mofcomp %s"

  • Goto Server manager and do a Refresh

Summary

  • Fix was initially for 2012 R2 but has been verified as a valid fix for 2019.
