Hi Will,
Sounds good. The first thing you'll need to do is to create the following registry key (if it doesn't already exist) on any afflicted Agent machines (back up your registry first just to be safe):
Change the value of this key to 1. Afterwards, take the following steps:
Download fix from https://linkprotect.cudasvc.com/url?a=https%3a%2f%2fstorage.veeam.com%2fFix_128908_72fb3a17c4.zip&c=E,1,sSySJyvN5w-i6StJYw2nsFkqWoMXyyzXCBzWS2W1sQHvG2_dAo2fbieFjzH6ylB42fq8Xyv2BKh6_m0_pB0bcYqMFwNJIA8VAiiFliKH7H0,&typo=1
Stop 'Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows' service
Go to 'C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup' folder
Backup files Veeam.Agent.Configurator.exe and Veeam.EndPoint.Backup.exe
Place files from x64 or x86 folder (accordingly to your OS architecture) to folder 'C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup'
Run 'Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows' service
That should cause the error to stop occurring when the backup policy is applied. Please let me know if that helps.
Thanks,
Dave
