Getting error reason "24" when trying to log on means the database connection was tested using an incorrect username and password.
Clients (not ASP)
Start, Run, Regedit, HKey_Current_User, Software, righ click on Petroware and select Delete to delete th key and subkeys.
Then when logging on to Petroware, you will get the test connection screen. Highlight db Petro on left and on the right enter the DB2 username and password. Test Connection. If the correct username and password is used, you will get Connection Successful message.
Clients (ASP)
Log onto the server, start, run, regedit, HKEY_USERS, File, Load Hive, go up one directory and find the citrix userid name and double click. Click on the NTUSER.DAT file, you will get a prompt to name it, type anything, expand to users again, then find the one you just named 'anything', software, petroware, delete Petrodata, then go back up to that user name 'anything', file, unload hive.
Then when user logs in they will need to select db Petro on the left and use the username "DB2ADMIN" and password "avatar", Test Connection. Should get a successful message. Click Ok, Ok to get the normal Petroware logon box.
On New Server2008, Start Run Regedit, HKEY_USERS, File, Load Hive, C:\ Users, double click on username, double Click on NTUSER.DAT, name it whatever, OK, then click Whatever, Software, Petroware 2000, Petrodata, right click delete, click on Whatever, File, Unload Hive.
