"10060", "*", "*", SQLSTATE=08001.

 

Check the firewall on either on server or on client and turn it off.

Or you can add an exception to the server for port 50000.

 

Also if there is no firewall on, check to see if the db2admin password was changed. If so stop db2, start db2 again with the new password in the 

services file (start, adm tools, services, right click on Db2, type in new password), then start db2 services again.

Another fix: Be sure db2c_db2 is in the services file on the server. If not add it and restart db2 services. **Be sure to restart all 'automatic' db2 

services** Another fix for a client (Brandon) was to opn notepad as administrator and edit c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host file and added a 

line of the server ip address tab server name.
