Issue: DB2 SQL1034N Error

Symptoms / Error

  • DB2 SQL1034N Error 

Cause

  • The operation failed because the specified database cannot be connected to in the mode requested. 

Fix

  • In the db2 command line do the following

  • force application all

  • Then drop db petro (db name)

  • Then restore the db2 backup
