Symptoms / Error

  • ODBC Connection fails in Scandox.  ApplicationServer.log file is reporting ERROR [IM014] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application.

Cause

  • Docuphase 6.2 defaults all IIS app pools to disable 32 bit applications. 

Fix

  • In the ApplicationServerAppPool enable 32 bit applications set to True.

  • Reset app pool

Summary

  • Test ODBC connections.

  • This fix also corrects the issue where Scandox lookups can not connect using the "Server" setting while "Local" setting works fine.
