1. Create a connector in Office 365.

    1. Navigate to the connectors page within your Office 365 Admin Settings. 

    2. Click “Add a connector”

    3. Select “Your organization’s email server”

    4. Name your connector.

    5. Select “By verifying that the IP Address”...

    6. Enter the public IP address of the server sending the email and press the + button.

    7. Click “Create connector”

  2. Find domain MX record for the domain.

  3. Enter MX record into SMTPServer in Docuphase system options

  4. Ensure SPF record is correct for emailing outside the domain. For sending to external addresses this should include the public IP address of the server sending the email. 

  5. Ensure no entry exists in web.config files of Data Service\web.config value mail.server and Docuphase Server\web.config value EmailURL.

  6. Reset IIS

  7. Reset Docuphase

  8. UNKNOWN: Check Domain in web.config file. Unsure if this is required as of yet.  Check Data Service\web.config value mail.domain.

  9. Verify operation from left side email, both internal and external. 

  10. Verify operation from right side email, both internal, external and sent items.
